Anarchy and shit

Telling an anarchist to just go live outside the boundaries of capitalism and the state is like asking a feminist to live outside the boundaries of patriarchy or asking an anti-racist to live outside of racism. You can’t just fucking live outside of systems of oppression, that’s not how systems of oppression fucking work.

The Paris Commune is a great example of this, 20,000 anarchists or anarchist-minded folks were literally murdered because they wanted to live in a commune. The system is not just going to let you live outside of their means. Other people would see you doing that and it would catch on. The state, the ruling class, those who control the means of production, have no interest in allowing anything which may allow people to question who rules over them.

There is no “human nature” aspect to capitalism. Everything you fools believe you believe because someone else, a teacher, a pastor, a senator, a talk show host, told you it was right. You were raised under capitalist, nationalist, patriarchal values, and through the process of socialization your behaviors and thought processes became a reflection of those values.

The material conditions of society are a reflection of those whom control the means of production; in a capitalist society, those who control control those means are the ruling class, the class that wants to maintain control over your life. All ideas, from something as trivial as the iphone, to something as serious as education, are as current a reflection of the ideas of those whom wish to rule you. If you change who controls these means from a few sociopaths like Mitt Romney, to all of society, you then create a society in which the ideas are a reflection of common people such as you and I.

Even if we could leave, why should we? Why should it be those who only want to share what they have with those who don’t be asked to leave? Why should it be those who want to have control over their bodies be asked to leave? Why should we even have to pay to exist on a planet? Why not ask the capitalist to leave? Why not tell those who burn holes in our ozone layers, start wars, and enslave the poor to leave? They are the ones who have committed genocide, war, and slavery. Stop asking anarchists, feminists, anti-racists, and so forth to “go live somewhere else” when it is our oppressors who are the guilty ones. Existence isn’t a fucking crime.

When you learn to rely on each other, and not some figurehead, you realize you didn’t really need those people telling you what to do in the first place. It’s a learned behavior just like any other. As Pat The Bunny writes:

“So i dont want to kill a cop, what i want is neighborhoods where they don’t have to get called
when the shit goes down”

The reality is, under capitalist, existence itself is literally a crime.They will attack us, the environment, and anything else that stands in the way of their own expansion, their own profit, regardless of how innocent. As Judge Joesph Gray put it:

“Not because you have caused the Haymarket bomb, but because you are anarchists, you are on trial”
